Connecting OPC UA with other systems

The OPC Router as middleware connects a variety of systems with each other. The graphical interface enables a simple connection with OPC UA data through MQTT or REST to ERP systems, such as SAP or databases, including the SQL database, Oracle or many others. Additionally, OPC UA data can be sent to users via email or Telegram using drag & drop. The OPC Router couples your systems with each other and creates a visual, automated data exchange in your production.

This is how you realise your OPC UA connection

The OPC Router realises the communication to the different systems with the help of extensions, the so-called Plug-ins. For the optimal adaptation to your project, the OPC Router Plug-ins offer a variety of freely combinable OPC connection options. You can choose between the OPC Router as a Client, as a Server, or as a Publisher and Subscriber.

With the OPC UA Client Plug-in, the OPC Router can read and write data from OPC Servers as an OPC UA Client. Afterwards, these can be connected to various systems.

With the OPC UA Server Plug-in, the OPC Router provides the internal variables via OPC UA to read and write. The UA Cloud Library of the OPC Foundation is available through this Plug-in.
